SmartNet Workshops: Takeaways from Florence
The SmartNet project is attracting interest from Europe and beyond!
On 24-26 October 2018 in Florence, several stakeholders from TSOs/DSOs, Regulators, Utilities and Traders joined our workshops hosted by the Florence School of Regulation to discover the latest results of our research on a subject that has a global relevance: the integration of the growing number of distributed energy resources (DER) and the coordination of the transmission and distribution electricity systems. Each day, different perspectives and interests of the audience were taken into account by the project team and the workshops turned out to be a fruitful chance to receive important feedback from our stakeholders.

Day 3 of our workshop in Florence: The #smartnetproject shows that things are moving in #europe. Still a lot to do in terms of regulatory thinking but we’re on the right track to achieve the #electricity grid and market of the future! https://t.co/nuvvh6Xf7j pic.twitter.com/YOszOIwI5L
